Terms of service.

Last updated 8 November 2026

The short version

  • Previews are free. You pay only after you approve your site and it goes live.
  • Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel. Cancel any time; it ends with the month you’ve paid for.
  • Your domain and your content are always yours.
  • If a payment is 14 days late, your site is paused until it’s paid.

1. Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you, the business buying our services, and BiomeDrive (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in India (CIN {{CIN}}), with its registered office at {{REGISTERED_ADDRESS}}, India (“BiomeDrive”, “we”, “us”).

By approving a preview, paying us, or ticking “I agree” at checkout, you accept these terms. We sell to businesses only, not to consumers.

2. What we do

We design, build, host and look after websites for businesses. The plans, their prices and what each one includes are listed on our pricing page. Work outside a plan, such as online shops or booking systems, is quoted separately and agreed in writing before we start.

3. Free previews

We may build a preview of a website for you before you buy anything. A preview is free and creates no obligation. It stays our property until you subscribe to a plan or buy it.

4. Monthly plans (Starter and Growth)

  • Your plan starts on the day your website goes live (the “go-live date”).
  • You authorise us, through our payment provider Razorpay, to charge your card the plan price on the go-live date and on the same date every month after that, until you cancel.
  • Prices are in the currency shown at checkout (US dollars, pounds or euros) and do not include any VAT or sales tax your business may need to account for.
  • We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change. You can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Late or failed payments

If a payment fails, Razorpay tries again and we email you. If it is still unpaid 14 days after the due date, we may pause your website (visitors see a “temporarily unavailable” page) until it is paid. If it is still unpaid 30 days after the due date, we may end your plan and take the website down. Your domain name stays yours in every case.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel a monthly plan at any time by emailing [email protected] or using the link in your receipt. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you’ve already paid for. Refunds are covered in our refunds and cancellation policy.

When you cancel, you can buy the Starter website outright for US$499 (£399 or €449). Otherwise we take it offline at the end of your paid month.

7. The Own it plan

You pay half the price when you approve the preview and half before handover. Once the full price is paid, we send you the website’s files and you may use them for your business however you like. Until then they remain ours. Hosting and edits after handover are optional and billed monthly.

8. Who owns what

  • Your content (text, logos and photos you give us) and your domain name always belong to you.
  • On a monthly plan, the website’s design and code are licensed to you for as long as your plan is active. They transfer to you only if you buy the site (the Own it plan or the buy-out in section 6).
  • You confirm that you have the right to use any content you give us, and that it is lawful.

9. Edits and support

The edits included in your plan are small content changes: text, photos, prices, opening hours or contact details. Larger changes, such as new pages or a redesign, are quoted separately. Unused edits don’t roll over to the next month. Turnaround times are in our service delivery policy.

10. Hosting

We aim to keep your website online at all times, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable. We are not responsible for outages caused by our hosting provider, your domain registrar, or events outside our control.

11. Limits of liability

Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses. We don’t guarantee any number of visitors, calls or leads.

12. Ending the agreement

We may end the agreement by email if you break these terms, don’t pay as described in section 5, or use the website for anything unlawful.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute goes to the courts of {{CITY}}, India. We’ll always try to sort out a problem by email first: write to [email protected].
